The Grup de Geodinàmica i Anàlisi de Conques (GGAC) is a multidisciplinary team including researchers in the fields of Structural Geology, Geophysics, Sedimentology, and Biostratigraphy. Members of GGAC are teaching staff and researchers at the Departament de Geodinàmica i Geofísica and the Departament d’Estratigrafia, Paleontologia i Geociències Marines of the Universitat de Barcelona.
The GGAC started operating in 1994, and has since then been recognized as a leading research group by the Generalitat de Catalunya and participated in diverse projects involving collaboration with the oil industry.
