Logic, Language and Cognition Research Group

I am a philosopher. I am currently following the Language and Cognitive Science PhD program, writing my thesis on "Natural Kind Concepts and Modal Epistemology" under the supervision of David Pineda. Since November 2007, I am a Graduate Teaching Assistant (Profesor Ayudante) at the Department of Logic, History and Philosophy of Science, Universitat de Barcelona. Before that, and since September 2005, I was a Part-Time Instructor (Profesor Asociado) at the DAFITS, Universitat Rovira i Virgili.

I am mainly interested in the philosophy of mind. On the one hand, on naturalistic accounts of mental content and their relation with conceivability argument against materialism. Believe me, there is a relation.

On the other hand, I have done some work in representationalist accounts of phenomenal consciousness, and of the painfulness of pain in particular.
